I’m an international graduate student majoring in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, in College of Science of George Mason University. I love my major because Bioinformatics can make a huge contribution to the whole society, by improving agricultural production, disease treatment and human health. I’m especially interested in cancer research because cancer metastasis has caused high mortality and many types of cancer are still incurable. I plan to achieve my master degree of Bioinformatics in Fall 2017 and become a cancer researcher.
